This past year, Strategic Alliance Consulting Inc.’s president and CEO, Ken Lukonis, participated in and graduated from the Leadership Fauquier program, which aims to educate local individuals within the community on leadership development and create a network of esteemed alumni for both the private and non-profit sector.
This 10-month long program was created to expand the number of leaders around the community on how their companies function and how they can enable useful resources to benefit themselves and others. The goal of the Fauquier Leadership program is ultimately to strengthen individuals in the Fauquier community in their knowledge of the county, as well as how to increase active participation through volunteerism and enhance professional leadership skills.
Mr. Lukonis completed this program in hopes to put these new leadership skills into action through his company. “It was a great experience to be a part of, not just to put this benefit into our company, but to work and learn alongside other members of the community to build a stronger foundation of business owners and workers who share the same goal.”
The diversity between candidates of companies is very much spread out. Other companies from around the area who graduated this year include but are not limited to: Piedmont Environmental Council, Fauquier Times, Fauquier County Public Schools, and the Fauquier County sheriff.
